Your path towards
self-discovery and growth

What hurts us the most can show us what we care about most.
Counselling with Compassion will help you turn towards your pain and discover what’s meaningful in your life.

Your Therapy Experience

Every person is unique and so even though you might be struggling with something “common,” I believe in tailoring therapy to your unique needs and challenges. In an encouraging, friendly, and compassionate manner we will collaboratively work towards your goals. My flexible approach integrates various well-researched psychological theories and processes such as self-compassion, positive psychology, family-systems, mindfulness and acceptance, to help facilitate the meaningful change you seek.

My clients are people suffering with a variety of issues including: life transitions, anxiety, depression, bipolar, trauma, relationship challenges, communication and intimacy, low self-confidence, identity questions, unresolved grief, and chronic pain. I would be happy to have a complimentary meeting with you to explore if working together is right for you.

I look forward to hearing from you as you take the next step on your path towards self-discovery and growth.

Compassion

Compassion involves the recognition and clear seeing of suffering. It also involves feelings of kindness for people who are suffering so that the desire to help – to ameliorate suffering – emerges. Finally, compassion involves recognizing our shared human condition, flawed and fragile as it is.”

– Kristin Neff, “Self-Compassion” p. 10
